I have been on 20 mgs of Celexa for about 6months for depression and anxiety. I recently ran out of prescriptions and instead of calling my doctor I wanted to see how I would do without it. At first I felt better without it. I guess more normal but lately I have felt kind of light headed and jumpy. My sleep has been a little interupted also. I have been off of it for about 4 days. My Therapist is off for another 2 weeks. So I was just curious what you guys think I should do. Thanks alot

Mike,
I think you should go to your doctor. The symptoms that you are describing are more than likely from withdrawal of Celexa. I've been on Celexa for over 3 years now so I don't know what it's like to go through the withdrawal but none-the-less, I think you should go to your doctor.

When you go to your Dr., you might ask about Lexapro.
In mgs., you take less mg. but is equivalent to
more. Basically, there is no side effects with it.
Lexapro is becoming very popular. I do not take,
myself but have someone that we are very close to
that does. Good luck!
