Hi everyone,

I just have a few questions about the transmission of HIV. I'll explain my situation first...
Around 3 months ago I went home with a random guy and attempted sex (no protection), I know it was dumb but I cant take it back now. He tried a few times but couldnt get 'in' (so to speak!). He came soon after but not near my area so is there a chance I got infected just via the contact?
A few weeks after this occured (I was really sore and bleeding yadda yadda yadda) I got tested for all STDS and they all came back negative (this was maybe, 2-3 weeks after the incident). I havent been worried since but then the other day I checked out my results sheet and it says that you should have a test 6 weeks after exposure as it cannot always detect the infection early?
Im really worried now, and I am not afraid to go to the doctor again... It's just the waiting that scares me
Any help would be great. Thanks for reading

Listen, the waiting is worse that the testing, finding out the results, etc.etc.etc. However given the scenario you painting this is a no risk encounter; ie: since there were no bodily fluids shared, there is no chance of transmission. And, since your STD panel came back negative, then it appears as though you are in the clear.

About the other problem: soreness/bleeding. It's probably just a case of hemorrhoids. chris
