Does a neg. fecal occult mean that i do not have cancer? i have a little bit of blood in my stool every once in awhile..It has been going on for a couple of years. I also get mucus in my stool sometimes to..I have gone to the doc. and they cheack me and say i have hemroids. I have had 4 kids..Thank you for any info.

I believe it just checks for blood, cancers may or may not cause bleeding.
