 under normal circumstances I would have to say, "Spirit, you got some 'splaining' to do." However, I am so glad you are here and will bust a gussett (it's something my mother used to say. I don't even know what the hell a 'gussett' is.) telling you so. Love, chris :bouncing: :bouncing: :bouncing:

Spirit, I've missed you! I'm so glad you're here, because I'm going though a helluva lot right now:(
And just as an update, I'm going for my 6 week this week:(
For some reason, I've been pretty calm about it..but I'm sure once my blood is shipped off, I'll be freaking out!
Back to the subject at hand, It's really amazing to see you're back
We love you!

 Spirit: I'm so sorry about your hospitalization...is there anything I can do? As for me, I'm really OK. I'm not sure where I left off but, recently, I became anemic again (HGB 7.6) so they transfused two units and gave me (a week later) 1.5 grams of Iron. He started me on Epogen and I've had two doses (one for the past two weeks). However, last week, when I went for blood work, my HGB was 11.4 so I didn't have to get the shot becuase I "didn't meet protocols." (Which is a GOOD thing!)

I'm pretty certain that this is all related to the medications and the they have surpressed my bone marrow. However, I'm feeling find now. :bouncing:

Please, keep in touch as best you can and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers all the time. love, chris

Chris :
Did they do a liver score test to check for for any kind of hepatitis ( and I don't mean in terms of viral ) in respect to any kind of inflamation of the liver due to the regamin you are on and also a liver biopsy ( to check for any kind of scaring ) because of inhibitors and the fact that they can be a bit harder on the liver to matastasise .
Also when the cg+8 ( killer T-cells ) are up they can also reak havoc on the hemoglobin and also the plateletts and even the cg+4 cells with regards to you're total WBC and percentages .
Numbers and percentages don't always match because one catagory on white blood cell may rise up more than usual and drop down the percentage of another .
And also even though it is possable that you're current meds could cause an anemia it would be wise for you're doctors to have a look and try to make sure they are seeing the whole picture .

thanks, Spirit. I know that they do liver enzymes regularly, but (stupid me!) I can't answer to the otehr liver questions you brought up. I will contact the doctor.

Also, I will pull up my labs and list them for you....chris
