I have 2 questions on Crystal Lite. First one... does anyone know if it is ok to consume? Second one.. Since it is mixed with water, would each glass of Crystal lite go towards your daily water intake?
Thanks.
Thanks.

That is as long as you believe that Artificial sweetners are safe. Which I do...but many people will try to tell you otherwise. Still try to drink some plain old water as well though.

Yes and Yes.
Try my technique:
Get a GALLON jug. Put in a tub of Crystal Light (Wyler's tastes even better) and 2 packets of artificial sweetner and exactly 2 ouncdes of Real Lemon (store brand at $.99 a quart is as good and a lot cheaper.) Fill the GALLON jug.
Net result is that you get twice as much for very little extra and it is less cloyingly sweet than following the direction to make 1/2 gallon. Plus it's less work.
I LIVE on the stuff.
Sure, count the water!
(Psst, the "Cool Raspberry" by Wyler's is really delicious)

Yup... I make it half-strength and always have it in the fridge. When I go to school for the day I fill one bottle of crystal light and take 2 of water.
I agree on the cool raspberry by wyler's. I also like crystal light raspberry lemonade. Just for the record, though, wyler's peach green tea is awful! In fact, I'm drinking meijer brand raspberry right now... not quite as good as the raspberry lemonade, but it's cheaper. I think next time I'm going to get some meijer's lemonade and mix that with the raspberry....

I used to drink Crystal light all the time. I just got tired of drinking it and switched to water.
But then I went into the store the other day and Crystal Light now makes a fruit punch one. Wow, is that stuff good:) I drink it all the time now. It tastes just like kool aid fruit punch from when I was little.
Also, does anyone know where you can buy crystal light in bulk? I know that the Costco I go to does, but they only sell in the spring time.

Another tip:
Use one of the iced teas, Wyler's or Crystal Light (obviously not the Wyler's Peach Green Tea...what an awful combo :D)...
Make it to a gallon with the extra aspartame and lemon juice BUT steep 3 or 4 bags of real black tea in 3 or 4 cups boiling water for 10 minutes or more to get all the taste and dump it into the gallon container.
If you squeeze on an actual lemon making sure you get the pulp in, it taste and looks like real home-made iced tea...delicious and CALORIE FREE! I even serve it "for company."
