A pleasant Sunday afternoon..is it possible my Friend who had HBV could have an Infection within her Liver other than active HBV that is causing her pain,fever and chilling?

Well - not easy question! And should be given to her doc. To give you a good information per internet is in fact not possible.

Of course. It could also be something outside her liver as well.

People with hepatitis are subject to illnesses just as anyone else would be. Care needs to be taken about what medications are used.

She obviously needs to see a doctor for a diagnosis.
