Hi everyone,
I just wanted some advice of you guys if you don't mind.
I went to see my doctor a few weeks ago cue to pains in my legs. Stabbing pains and a deep bone pain. It started with my left leg then arm then my right leg too. Then I want to see him again as I was having a slight pins and needles feeling just now and then on my left leg, arm hand and torso. He said I should stop taking my contraceptive pill and if I still am having probs He would refer me to a neuro.
Well, I am looking back at several things that have been happening to me medically that i havent really thought about and they all seem to fit with MS.
I have twitching muscles, that looks like you have a pulse under them. I Have buzzing feelings in various places. I have inermittent blurred vision. I have been having a stabbing pain in my temple. I have had dizziness/vertigo. Fatigue, Bad memory and also getting my words muddled... so much so that i am embarressed but i cant seem to correct myself or forget what i was trying to say.
I have no weakness.
Do these symptoms fit with Ms? I dont like to keep going back to the doctor as i feel like i am wasting his time.
Can you have all these ms symptoms at once...Can you have ms without weakness or walking problems? Does ms affect both sides of the body at once or just one side?
Thanks...I relly need some questions answered. I am aware noone on here can diagnose me but I just cant find the info i am looking for.

Hi Liquidsilva - you can have all of those symptoms with MS without weakness and without gait problems. Each person's experience with MS is as unique as that individual himself. This is worth talking about with a neuro!

You should tell your doctor about ALL of the symptoms.
In answer to your questions, yes, you can have a host of sx at once, no weakness, both sides of your body etc with MS, but there could be many other causes. Don't freak out, but do tell your doctor so that you can get checked out.

Go see the Dr you are not wasting his time, that is what he/she went to school for, let him/her figure out what is wrong, you are wasting your time not going :nono:
There is not a single person on here who has the exact same symptoms in the exact same spot at the exact same time as another, we all have symptoms, some have worse than others, MS is tricky
it likes to hide and be hard to diagnose.
I had siezures/vertigo :dizzy: 12 years ago and that could have been MS hiding waiting to make it's grand entrance! Stress is a great instigator of MS too
You are smart to ask questions here because there is lots of knowledge on the board. Take all your questions and symptoms with you, write them down, so you don't forget. Your health is more important than worrying about wasting a providers time dontcha think? ;)
Good Luck
