im 8 weeks post partum, started the mini pill 2 weeks ago. how long should i be on the pill before we have sex without a condom??

You should be good to go because the packaging says that you are supposed to use a back-up method for seven days after starting your pill so you should be good since you have been on your pill for 2 weeks.

Actually you would have been good to go after only 48 hours because you are on the "mini-pill" (progestin only). One reminder: If you are more than 3 hours late taking the mini-pill, you need to use backup for the next 48 hours!
