Hi everyone,

I have a rather serious question to ask. I had sex on the 21 of Jan. Used a condom, then we had sex again that same night without using one (but he did not come) I had just gotten off my period. for the past week my breasts have hurt, and I've been nauseated. I took 2 Ept tests both negative the plus/minus test and the digital, as well as Answer test. It's been 16 days since the incident, I guess I'm curious as to if it could show up positive by now or not - I have heard that in some cases you can test as early as 14 days after sex...?

this could all be nerves too I guess - since I should start in a week or so.

Sore boobs is usually the first sign of pregnancy, i have been on the pill not planning to have any more kids (i have two already) but then i felt the 'omg no' sore boobs! I was not late yet.. but i just knew. Even though the pregnancy tests say wait til your 'late' i couldnt wait that long!! So i took a test, it showed positive right away, (looks like three for me : D) so perhaps try clear-blue home test. Also your Doc can do a blood test which will show if u are or are not pregnant no matter how early it is.

You shouldwait a few more days and test again. You are most fertile before you ovulate b/c sperm can survive for 3-5 days. It is possible that you could have had sex 5 days prior to ovulation. Most test will detect hcg (the pregnancy hormone) by 15 days after you ovulate. Your chance of being pregnant is not real high, but there is still a chance. I hope you get the results that you want.
