Okay, this is really important because I'm not exactly sure what to do in this situation. I am on Alesse and yesterday (Sunday) I started a new pack of pills. I regularly take the pills at 7:00 am but yesterday I forgot to take the first pill of the package until 11:30 am. BUT at around 10:30am (before i remembered to take the pill) I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. Am I at risk for becoming pregnant because of this? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I must decide what my next step will be...

No because if you read the package it says "If you miss one pill take it as soon as you remember, no back up contraception is needed." You should be fine, there is really like a 2-4 hour window in which you are probably fine; of course the protection isn't quite as good, it goes from being 99.9% to being about 95% effective, but you should be fine since you took it when you remembered! Just be careful next time!
