well moms breat cancer and breat removal was in 1997 and 2001 now she has cancer back its in the bone with mets,lung with mets, and abdomen with mets she is in her 3rd week of hospicea dr says 2 weeks to 2 months probable not the latter more of 3 weeks to a month she had constant pain she cant eat or take her meds with out nausea and vlmiting she is going down fast. terrible thing she has to go thru at 80 but she will be home with dad and her parents soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom...I just read this and had to reply. It's exactly the way my Mom went only 3 months ago. It's so hard to see your parents so sick and failing so fast. I got to the point that I prayed to God to just let my Mom go peacefully. It was so hard to lose her but so hard to see her suffer. You're in my prayers...

well its been about its been about 16 days since i last updated here to let you know mom is in her final phase of dying she will no longer take foods she is complete bedridden now having to change her diaper but not ofter due to lack of fluid intake and tonight she told me she didnt want to leave me but i told her it was ok to go. she is such a strong women but yet to see her so frail and weak i pray for a peaceful death for her i will miss her but
God has better plan for her. thanks for listening

DelRae...been praying for you!@ My dad died after LC a yr ago. He told me he didn't want to leave us,too. It broke my heart. He was 73. HE was on hospice for 12 days. When he died, I thanked God he was sleeping and finally at rest... Prayers, honey...

thank you cat my mom was under hospice for about 6 weeks she passed last saturday we had her memorial service today march the 11th , she is at peace now no morepain, no more tears.

My MIL died of cancer some years ago she was in her early 50,s, we nursed her for a year, it was very hard because she was determined to beat it and we couldnt say otherwise,so she never really said goodbye to us which is sad.

I found an old post about your hairloss a few years ago, you said you were low in b12 and iron, would you say now that was the cause and did it grow back, I am being told the same by my doctor but I am scared it maybe due to my anxiety disorder rather than my low iron and b12. Thanks
