I'm hoping to get some opinions on the following prescription for major depression:
Please excuse spelling

Clonopon 1 mg.
Ativan 1 mg.
Anafrin 150 mg.
Lovaxil 50 mg.
Trazadone 300 mg.

Tonight she was crawling out of her skin and very depressed. She feels the doctor is using her like a guinea pig. She wants to get off them all.

She stopped Hormones due to pre cancer

I dont know about the others but I take Ativan for my anxiety/panic attacks I just take 0.5 mg or if it doesnt go away with that I take the other half (total 1mg) Some doctors prescribe it as matienence as in 1mg a day to prevent anxiety. It works good for me I have heard it called a nerve pill it calms the nerves. And it works for me.

Searcher, she could be right. Was one of them Klonopin? Ativan and Klonopin are in the same drug class and shouldn't be prescribed together. Both are new-generation, potent benzodiazepines and have a side effect of depression. They are mainly used for sleep and anxiety...which are two possible side effects of antidepressants.
