Good afternoon everyone!I got some questions for you guys. I'm new so be kind! Lol. Ok quick backround first. I have this weird...I dunno, skin on my neck, on the sides. It's kinda dark than the rest of my skin, in spots, there are little tiny pores that are darker all over, and my skin is very loose in my neck....wrinkly kinda. Which wouldn't be a big deal if I wasn't 21. I've had this problem since I was young but it's progressively gotten worse. More wrinkly actually. There is this thing called acanthosis nigricans. I was wondering if that was it.It doesn't itch or hurt, and it's not reall lumpy (well except for the wrinkles). But acanthosis nigricans is on, for the most part, morbidly obese people. I'm 120 and 5'4", which I don't think is obese, and I don't know. My old doctor gave me fungal medicine, but that didn't help and when I was in GA this doctor wanted to give me a biopsy which scared the crap out of me because I associate biopsy with cancer. they told me they just weren't sure what it was exactly...But i didn't get the biopsy because A. I didn't trust the doctor and B. I was scared of the results and the biopsy. This has just been thought of as a cosmetic thing to me for years....but now I'm worried it might be something more. Does anyone else have this, or at least know what it is?? Thanks
