Did anyone see or read the news report about scientists discovering an obesity virus? It's a virus with symptoms like the common cold. They call it adenovirus-36. The scientists said it might, at least partially, explain the almost simultaneous increase of obesity in other countries where it was rarely seen before. They haven't had a good explanation for it until now. I was thinking about it and how strange it sounds, then I remembered another study, the one that found that ulcers are caused by a bacteria, not stress or a poor diet like doctors were saying for years. I'm not sold on the obesity virus theory yet, but I look forward to reading some more studies on it. I've seen stranger things so I'll keep an open mind. My mom is obese despite starving herself for years. Anything that might help her in the future is of interest to me.
