I have just started into my second month taking Estrostep and I have been continually crying and depressed. This is not my typical personality, and I am considering discontinuing these pills. My weepiness is directly related to the Estrostep. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this side effect. I have been on other bcp's without this side effect.

When I was on it, I was depressed the week before my period every month like clockwork. The rest of the month I was fine. It was from the pills because I wasn't that way before taking them. Also, on Ovcon-35 I experienced depression the entire four months I was on it. Now, however, I'm on it again and have no depression, especially since I added a B complex vitamin. The pill depletes alot of the B vitamins in the body, so taking a supplement really helps.
