I haven't tried hyperbaric oxygen treatment and I don't personally know anybody who has. I have been considering it for a while now too. I am lucky to have a center that does this treatment about 20 mins. from where I live in Madison WI. There was a story in our local newspaper about this facility when it opened. It said that most of their patients were kids with Autism, that it cost $100 per treatment, and that you had to sign up for 40 treatments. I have twins with Autism, so I would be looking at $8000, for treatments that may not work. I don't have that kind of money laying around, but would sell body parts if it meant my kids would be better off! I asked my sons' neurolgist about hyperbaric oxygen treatment and he said as far as he is concerned they are giving parents false hope and that it is "criminal". We have one in town and several students with disabilities who have used it for about 1 year. I work with them through out the year and have seen no difference, sorry but I'm still waiting for more data before I say yeah.

I have never heard of it as a treatment for Autism and know nothing about it. Sorry

You didn't say anything offensive. It just seems that the 35 of us who viewed your post haven't tried hyperbaric treatment. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't be able to get E into the chamber, tent, or whatever they use.
