I haven't posted in a while and can't remember if I brought this up before
but the problem was recently brought up again. I recently saw another nuerologist for a second opinion since no one can give me a definative Dx.
The problem is the use of different MRI machines the first one had a 1.5 magnet and the second a 3.0. So the doctors don't know if I have sinificantly more lesions or it was because the second magnet was so much stronger then the fist and the first missed them.

I am scheduled for another MRI in a few weeks. So I called the hospital to find out which machine I was going in. They have several MRI machines within the system. They had planned to put me one that has a 1.5 (again the weaker magnet, different from the second test) So I had to reschedule to get the machine with the stronger magnet.

Morale of the story: Ask about the difference in machines if you dont use the same one all the time, Some MRI are stronger then others so there is a possibilty of missing lesions. Good Luck!!

You know, I never knew that! I always get mine done at the same place, and they only have one machine. But that's very good to know!
