I was in accident over 2 months ago. Still hurting in legs and arms in so many ways, with alot of muscle twitching and tender areas. Doc just thinks this will go away. Interefering with my whole life! Can this be Fibromyalgia?

Welcome to the board Valk. I would think just 2mo.s out of a car accident your symptoms could still be from the accident. That is not a very long time for your body to heal. Give yourself permission to take it easy and let the healing continue. Although some people have indicated their symptoms started after accidents you might want to heal a little longer. Keep us posted on how you are doing, I do hope you do not have fibro.

Glojer is right. I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. I had a wreck in May 2002 and although I wasn't really hurt I had been jostled around in the car, especially as it stopped. I was sooo sore for quite a long time. It kinda felt like almost every muscle I have had been pulled really bad. I even kept a headache to some degree most near everyday for something like 2-3 weeks, my muscles stayed feeling tight, I moved very carefully for a few weeks. I sincerly hope you don't have fibro, a wreck that causes sore muscles, you'll get over, fibro, you have to learn to live with. And it sure isn't easy. Let us know how you do.

I'm Back on to say that yesterday I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a specialist. Yes, my car accident did trigger it. I am depressed about it.
