I have noticed that once in awhile, I will have a slight stinging/burning sensation upon urinating. It is not persistent, and has been one episode every few weeks or months. Usually, if it happens, it will occurr in the morning urine or after laying down. It will stop immediately after one episode and I won't have another episode for a few weeks/months. And when I say episode, I don't mean discomfort all day, I mean only one trip to the bathroom. The rest of the day is fine. The pain is not bad, but noticeable when it does happen.

I HAVE NOT engaged in unprotected sex, but there was an episode 4 months ago where I was somewhat scared that the condom I used may have been slightly compromised (leak test about 30 minutes after sex produced a few drips which I figured was caused after the condom was discarded, but otherwise fully intact).

There are no other signs of anything (no discharge, no frequent urinations, not even frequent burning sensations), but just this once in awhile sensation. People have told me that it could just be a reaction to food, medication, sleeping on it etc, because it passes immediately after I urinate. Could this be something normal? Any input would help. Thanks!
