View Full Version : Reiter's Syndrome and H. Pylori Connection?

Does anyone know if there is a connection between H. Pylori and Reiter's Syndrome?

I had an infection (Helicobacter Pylori) in mid-2004 and followed the "triple therapy" prescription for 30 days (antibiotics / antiacid / ???). I was re-tested (blood and breath test) and results were negative. However, since then I have been having all sorts of inflammatory issues (conjuctivitis, ureathritis, gastritis, hip pain, dry mouth, dry throat, dry skin). I have been tested and re-tested for every STD, Autoimmune Diseases, HLA B27 gene, etc. All negative. The only thing I have tested positive for was H. Pylori. Could this bug be responsible for my symptoms and pain (i.e. Reiter's Syndrome)?

I look forward to all views / thoughts / ideas.

Thanks!
