 Hi there!
I think that I may have just possibly figured out why I have been losing a lot more hair than the usual.....I wasn't using a softer bristle brush...I think that my scalp has been badly affected from the styles brushes that I have used to for the last twenty years! I am trying out a softer bristlebrush...(like a brush that I used to share with my mother, when I was younger.) This one I just bought, is a wooden handled brush...and it has soft but firm bristles...they are firm, but, not too firm that they pull out all or more than the usual amount of hairs from my head!
be cautious when you pick out a brush...just because the fads or the stylists that do your hair or talk show people say, "go out and get this, this brush will do absolute wonders for your hair" It doesn't mean that you are "safe"!
I hope that maybe I will get back some growth, especially in the back of my head! I don't have totally baldness on top and in back...but, my hair has definitely "thinned-out",,,I used to have hair that was long and thick, and my friends loved to french braid it...now, I have lost a bit...and it has really thinned out...and there are a few semi-bald spots on top of my head.....It doesn't look good!
