Someone mentioned in another thread that they suffer with TMJ. Is that typical of MS? I've noticed for the last year or so that my jaw gets really tight at times. It is hard to open my mouth very wide. I figured it was just from meds, stress, or tension. Wonder if it has it's roots in something else?

I have the same problem, I chomp on the inside of my lower lip while sleeping, very annoying, and my jaw will lock up, mostly when I am laying down.
I asked my dentist about this, he says stress causes it, so he suggested a warm washcloth applied to the outside of my jaw like the side of my face for a few minutes before bed will loosen the jaw up, and I tried it and it works.
It lasted for a few weeks, then when I notice my lip has been chomped on I do it again.
Give it a try, see if it works for you.
