Hi,
I hope all of you on the East Coast are getting through the storm all right. My Mom is at a NH on Long Island, which was hard hit. So far they still have power, but many of the personnel are unable to come to work, so many are doing double shifts. My brother says they have had 22 inches so far and still coming. The wind was so bad it knocked off the door on his son's car when he opened it.
I am hoping my Mom is not afraid or worried about the snowstorm - probably not even aware of it, but strange things frighten AD victims as they become more and more childlike. Certainly she will not get visitors today, and maybe the phones or power may fail.
Just a bit of lake effect snow here in northern Indiana.
Love,
Martha

Hope your mother is blissfully unaware of the snow and happily passing her day as usual. Great sense in Bill's staying home.
We just got 4" of wet snow and it's mostly gone already. I love being where there are 4 seasons.
Cheers! Barbara :)

We just got a dusting of snow here near Chicago. But as I spoke to my sister in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, she was watching the snow hit the ground. A true rarity there. I just heard that NYC has a broken record for snowfall in Central Park. I hope everyone is alright.
Martha, your mom will be fine and Bill does have good sense about him to stay home. May the snowfall and harsh winds stop there very soon.
Love, Barb

I love Arizona weather, but have to tell the truth.....I'd like a little snow every now and then. Love it!
Course, I just want a little, not lights-out, roads-blocked and all that stuff.
Hope it clears a little back East in the morning!

Hi Martha and everyone!
I was glad that you wrote and let us know how you and your mom and you Bro are doing in the snow storms!!! I did hear about the NY overflow on the TV.
Sorry, for those of you who like it (the snow), but I would like a high of 80 and a low of 70! Year round, please! It is a little too cold hear - in Texas - right now. I even have to wear a jacket, sometimes! And my poor little dad! I have to remind him to put on a jacket before going outside. Or, he would just wear a little white undershirt! At least he is not wearing the stained and holey ones now! Thank goodness for Christmas presents! :>
Take care everyone.
Love, Wannabe
