View Full Version : Haven't felt right since waking up with an awful headache

About 1 month ago I woke up with an awful headache, and even since I’ve not quite felt the same. I’m usually ok for the first half of the day, but then some or all of these symptoms start to surface;

increased pressure in my head especially when bending over
various prodding pains in my head
face ache and generally feeling run down,
pressure pain points at the top of my neck,
neck pain
muscle twitching all over my body, feels like I have bugs under my skin
poor concentration, foggy brain, vision not as quick to react
face ache and generally feeling run down,
stingy eye and eyeball pain, top of nose as well
slight dizzyness and nausea

I had an eye test the other day and was told I had lattice degeneration in peripheral areas of the retina for both eyes, but my research for this shows none of the above symptoms are related.

I will be going to the doctor soon but am afraid he will just write me off as suffering from depression and anxiety as I do have a fair few problems in my life, but the symptoms above all started after that headache and I do not feel they are related to the kind of anxiety and depression I have had before.

I also have post nasal drip, and feel this may be linked in some way. Also, I may have strained my neck through bad posture watching too much tv over Xmas, and thinking this may be linked to nerves etc.

Any help here really appreciated

For the life of me, no one should ever be afraid of going to the doctors.
If you feel that way towards your doctor then I suggest that you take your money and/or your insurance elsewhere & find a doctor who will LISTEN to you.

I did!!!

Sorry to be so blunt. Good luck.
