do any of you have constant pain?

And pain that kind of jumps around? Stabbing bend ya over pains that come and go? Sometimes burning pain?

Like nerve pain? (for both constand and jumping around pains)

I've been getting percocet for that (in addition to lyrica and cymbalta) and it takes the edge off barely...but I'm having to take 8 to 10 a day. I've been getting it from same doc - going to same pharmacy - and today the pharmacist was reminding me that it's addictive - and he needs a diagnosis for the pharmacy regulators - due to the amount I'm taking. Is that normal for the pharmacy to do that? I don't mind - cause all he needs is a diagnosis written on my next script.

I'm going 200 miles the 23rd to go to pain management - as my doc here is not going to write script for anything long acting - and nobody closer accepts tricare.

Hopefully he can run tests.

My emg/ncv came back NORMAL. Then why is my sciatica hurting so much? And my elbows (and IT IS NERVE PAIN IN MY ELBOWS) and other nerves also hurt. How could it be normal?

Everything they are doing is coming back normal - except RF was just a little "wrong" or elevated or not normal.

I'm getting so frustrated with everything coming back normal that I'm thinking they are going to start treating me like their is nothing wrong. But I still have all the problems...help. what do I do?

curiousforever,

I have the diagnosis probable MS.But also secondary radicalitis.Imflamation of the nerve endings from an unknown origin. This includes sciatic nerve.

My pharmacy requires a reason for all pain meds and lyrica(which I can not take) it protects pharmacy and patient.

I am traveling to the cleveland clinic next week to neuromuscular specialist to see if they can try to get the severe pain under control.I have pain in my legs and arms ,but also the pain that decides to jump around.Hang in there. Its tough not knowing.Only you know your body, keep fighting for testing and results.Remember an EMG/NCS can be a false positive test.Body temperature, meds and the technican can cause errors when it comes to an EMG.

Prayers to you

Toni

yes mine is really bad,, it sucks,,, i get so tired of it,, i have not taken my percocet tho only twice,, i onlt take that if we are having family gatherings at someone elses house and i need to be a little pain free to be able to enjoy myself, i usually just bite my tongue and deal with it cause i am so scared i will get addicted to the percocet and vicodin that when i am say 50 they won;t work for me anymore,, a friend of mine says they will up the miligrams, but i have 750 mg now,, who the heck would wanna have to take 3 at a time? not me,,, my dr is sending me to a pain specialist on march 7th so hopefully they can help me,, my lower back at the top of my sacram hurts so bad i can barely walk but i make myself do it,,, i am also on lyrica, told tyhe dr i stopped taking it cause it didn;t do crap for me and she told me i gotta take it longer than 2 months to notice and to start it again,, so i did last week,, so we will see! i just can;t stand taking meds when they don't friggin' work! i am so glad u folks understand how i feel,, cause no one around here does,, they know i hurt but they don't UNDERSTAND and know what it feels like.
