I just got a call from my doctor telling me that the reason my liver enzymes were high, is because I have GallStones. She suggested that I contact a surgeon to schedule a Gallbladder removal operation. I am DEAD set against having this operation, as I have never had an operation before and I have heard very bad things about this surgery. I have also found some liver/gallbladder flushes online and am VERY curious about them and if they really work. My doctor told me that since I am having no pain so far, that I may want to check with a herb-store or online for a possible non-surgical cure but that she personally didn't know of any. PLEASE HELP or any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you do some searching on this website under liver flushing you'll find the recipe I used succesfully. Those gallstones can be softened up with apples or apple juice and then passed out with the help of Epsom Salt and Grapefruits.

This article is kind of "textbookie" but gives some good examples of what to do about pain in different areas near the liver. Hope its helps.

My daughter last year finally had her gallblader remover due to severe pain for years. she was shocked how after putting up a fight of not wanting this surgery it turned out to be less painfull then she had thought. she was back on her feet in 2 days and has a tiny scar. I had gallbalader pain once,it drove me nut's. so i went and bought a big bag of apples and juiced them in my juicer. drank them fresh juiced, all day for about 2 day's and the gallbladder pain never came back. that was five years ago. hope this helps

My gallbladder removal was like cagedbird's daughter-quick,easy and done...mine was packed w/gallstones and the bladder was turning gangrene...(I waited too long!!) Five teeny, tiny incisions, 45mins of surgery-came home 3 hrs later. I also had twin 15mo toddlers and a six yr old at home--other than sleeping when I got home on day one and part of day two-I was good to go. If the pain is bad enough, the alternative, sugery, will look like a breeze...it just depends on how bad you feel. Just hope those stones aren't too big--that can cause probs for a flush.

I just had a friend have her gallbladder out last week---was supposed to be an in and out procedure on the same day. Well, they took out her gallbladder and she became very ill. A stone had gotten stuck in her bile duct and they had to go in the next day after doing the original surgery with those 4 little holes and go down her throat with a tube and get the stone out that way. At least with a liver flush, you can soften the stones beforehand so that chances are they will come out and even if they do get stuck, you just take another dose of Epsom Salts and it flushes it out. From a person with experience in flushing--the stones are soft and squishy---not how everybody pictures them, hard. I was very surprised to see that after I flushed. Even though they look like aquarium stones, they are soft and squish when you squeeze them.
I visit another very good liver flush board and there hasn't been 1 person there in 3 years that has had a stone stuck--the oldtimers that have been there longer said they've never read of one person having one stuck. So it's all in whether you want to take your health into your own hands, or go under a butchers knife. Also, with gallbladder surgery you might have constant diarrhea for the rest of your life---I think I'll pass on that. Good luck whatever you decide :)

Thank you so much guys for your replies! I spent my whole Valentine's day thinking about this (yeah, nice day to get the news, haha). I have researched both procedures and I just don't want to have surgery. I have never been "under" for a procedure before, and I want to keep it like that at all costs.
I found a flush that requires Epsom salt, olive oil, grapefruit juice, and honey. Although I am unsure about the Epsom salt part, I think the rest will be a breeze. It sounds better than the plain lemon juice/olive oil flush. I have read some horror stories dealing with flushes, but I have read equally inspiring stories. I figure that since my ALT levels went down, and I don't have pain, that maybe my stones aren't huge (I hope).
Can anyone suggest the best flush they have tried? And also, is the Parasite cleanse really important?
Thank you again for responding.

Sorry to hear abt your friend. I hope she's doing better now. Sounds aweful. I had a friend who had a similar exp, so I feel for you. Every person's experience is different with every situation, sugery, flushing, your gallstones (they vary person to person) etc...that's part of being an individual. If we weren't we'd all be wearing little silver suits & have pointy ears. ;) And that applies to doctors as well--if they were all advocates of the "surgery now!" approach, I'd be recovering from a liver tx right now instead of them seeing the amazing recovery and wanting to watch it and let it heal itself.
I have always admired your dedication to your medical beliefs and the way you champion for your cause, inyourdreams, and am happy it has always worked out for you. If it hadn't you wouldn't be here would you? Ppl w/success stories such as yours help us educate ourselves and allow us to make more informed choices, even if the ultimate decision lies w/conventional medicine.(or not) You know what "they" say...(who are "they" anyway??) Nobody: not everyone who has their gallbladder removed lives a life as stated in the above post. I have had no probs at all. None. I know a few who have some probs, and know a few who are lucky like me. Everyone's different. Good lucky to you and I hope you don't hurt too much. Hang in there kiddo.

Nobody: Do a search for my posts and you'll find the recipe I followed for my flushes. It requires the ES, grapefruit juice and OO. I've done 3 and never did any parasite cleansing first--as well as a lot of people I know haven't either. There are different tinctures you can get for parasite cleansing at GNC, etc if you want to do it first though. There's also a flush done with Coke that requires no ES, but magnesium citrate (the laxative in the green bottle). I've never tried that one, but a friend of mine has, and it worked too---although not as well as the ES one. The most important thing is to get those stones out of your colon as fast as possible when flushing. Stones are toxic to the body and if left in there, they will throw off toxins that make you feel sick. You can even do enemas if you want too. Flushing can be done like once a month and then every 6 months for maintenance--once you flush for 3 times in a row and see no more stones. I've done 3 in 3 months and am going to take a break because the last one didn't produce very much so I'll think I'll give my liver a rest for a few months.
Elfie :) Thanks--she's doing a lot better now--although one of her lap scope holes is infected so she's on antibiotics for that. She's an older lady, so it's pretty hard on her bod. I know I kinda/sorta "push" for flushing on here---but I never want to put anybody in harms way---I just want to let them know that these natural-type things can help them without having to go under the knife. You can read all types of stories on the net and wonder if they work---and since I've tried the flushing and has worked, I like to let others know not to be so skeptical. It all sounds so terrible because we're not used to it--Dr's don't push it because they don't know about it, but flushing dates back 5000 years ago. I wish I would have known about it 15 years ago when I was doubled over everyday in pain because my liver felt like a football inside of me. I'm glad you're on the road to recovery and waiting and watching isn't always a bad thing, right? Again, I really don't mean to overdo the flushing thing---I just like to educate others on options they might want to take. Glad we're all not the same cause I look terrible in silver!!!! :D

InYour Dreams... Hopefully your friend will get better once they get that secondary infection under control--that is worse than the gallbladder surgery itself! She's in my thoughts!
Ok, so you're a "flush pusher" :D , could be worse!! LOL I have learned a lot from you and others here have benefited from your knowledge. Altho I don't think I could stomach the recipes you follow (you must have an IRON stomach!!Epsom salts? ) But, if it works for you-that's one less trauma with which your body must deal. Sometimes we don't have a choice in that-so I say, when you have time and a choice, educate yourself and be concervative. At least you know abt them now-even if 15yrs ago you were in pain...I hear that liver pain is really rough. Now you've spared yourself the next 15+ yrs of it! That's a good thing! I have been very lucky w/doctors--and I am thankful each day I not only lived thru the first 3 nights, no one else had to die for me to do it. (not enough time for a live donor) They watched my enzymes, and the #'s began trending down, so aft abt a week or so they took me off the list. I can be relisted if I need to-but so far, so good. (my memory is really fuzzy lately-which is from the LF-and I am still finding things out--every time I go fo follow ups I learn more abt my exp. )And I look terrible in silver too!! I prefer Gold. (and diamonds!! :D ) Have a great night!!

InYourDreams: I did find your recipe for the flush. That is the same one I was thinking about doing. Thank you so much for writing your experience in detail for the woman you were helping. I too am very worried and am trying not to be. I guess it's because of the way my doctor handled it. She called me on the phone and told me that she got the diagnosis from the Ultra Sound lab. Then she asked me if she had already discussed my liver results with me. When I said no, she said that my liver is perfect but that I have Gall Stones. She continued by telling me that I need to call a surgeon to schedule a surgery to have my gall bladder removed. That was it!!! She never told me any details of what Gall Stones are, or how large mine were, nothing except that I had multiple Gall Stones. I was quite shocked. I have had no pain whatsoever, so I just figured that my liver enzymes were high due to six years worth of Exlax abuse. Especially since the last time I had blood taken, my enzymes dropped 11 points.
Is there any doubt in your mind that what is passed during a liver flush, isn't actually gall stones? I read somewhere that a doctor said there is no way a stone can be passed in this way and that the residue is Olive Oil. I don't figure this is possible but I wanted to know how you feel about it. Also, I heard that a colonic or enema is suggested before flushes. I am curious about this, as I had a previous addiction to exlax and can go days without having a bowell movement now. Should I be worried about this? I have began drinking apple juice (the cheap brand) and hope to continue drinking it until I do the flush, which might be sometime next week (I have a trip to Vegas planned and want to wait until afterwards). Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated. Oh yes...I remember you saying that you haven't done a parasite cleanse. I was wondering if you have done a colon cleanse (wouldn't that be like taking exlax?), or a candida flush?
Happy Elf: I just wanted to thank you for helping me before when I wrote about my liver enzymes being high. You helped me to relax and wait until the results came back. Gall Stones...I never dreamed of those. Anyways, I keep you posted but I have already decided that I would prefer to try a flush before any other measures are taken.

I would definitely do some sort of colon cleansing before you flush because of your past addiction. You want to be sure your colon can pass these stones out quickly and not get stuck in any residue that might be left up in there. I never did a colon cleanse because I'm a regular pooper :D
Why not eat some apples instead of the cheap apple juice? They'd probably be better for you than all that sugar and the malic acid content is probably much higher. Yes, apples and juice are fiber---but it's the malic acid that you want so that it will soften the stones.
I fullheartedly believe that the stones passed are actual stones. There are too many people out there that have cured their illnesses and saved themselves from surgery by doing flushing. My enzymes went from 42 and 43 to 15 and 16 after I did my flushing. Not that lower is better, but it did reduce them.
Stones can be passed that way---that's what the ES is for. It opens the bile ducts up so that the stones can pass through easily. And since you've softened them with apples, there should be no problem. What do you have to lose? If something gets stuck then you at least have the option of surgery if you have to----they were going to take it anyway, right? So why not take the chance to see if you can pass them yourself---then go get another scan and see if they're gone.
Vegas?? My favoritist place in the world!! Although I haven't been there in 6 years since my son was born. Someday I'll get back there! Yeah, I wouldn't wanna mess that vacation up either.....
I had no idea I had stones either till I flushed them out. I had fatty liver and it doesn't even hurt anymore.
Good luck and enjoy that vacation!!

InYourDreams: I love apple juice but don't like apples (go figure). My mom and brother are the exact opposite. I am a veggie girl - not fruits (unless juices). I guess I should learn how to juice my own, huh? Maybe thats something to look into. HAHA. I have definately decided to flush first! I do not want surgery and if it can be prevented by my own hands, I would rather at least try. It seems like since I began drinking the apple juice, I have ate less and I "go" more. So maybe I won't have to do a colon flush afterall. I found a "recommended" one yesterday and it contained Fiber and Senna. I figure I'm getting lots of fiber from my juice, and since senna is the same ingrediant in exlax, I don't feel comfortable chancing a relapse of addiction. I have been nearly a month and a half exlax free. Yeah! One more question if you don't mind...can you feel the stones pass? What can I expect after I go to bed?
HappyElf: Yeah, I hope to have fun in Vegas. At least get the gallstones off my mind for a day or two. I live pretty close to Vegas and went for a day in November (my brother and husband went to a concert, while my mom and I gambled), then for another day in December, because my husband and I went and sat as extras for a new upcoming movie. What an experience! It was fun for about 6 hours but got really tiring. This time, we are just going up to have fun. I figure that I will do my flush on Thursday after my trip. That way I have a day to recooperate from the trip. :)

Actually on the other forum I visit, a LOT of people there do juice their own apples. I'm lazy, I'd rather just eat an apple or drink cider. You will start going more with the apples, which is a good thing. Try to pay attention to see if you have 2-3 good bm's a day. Hey---after all those buffets out in Vegas, you're bound to be poopin' a lot!!! :)
So speaking of poopin' ---- will you feel the stones pass? Hmmm, some people right after they drink the OO mixture will feel grumbling and the feeling of something happening in their liver. I had that my first flush. My second and third flushes all I did was pass water with stones in it. You don't really "feel" anything---it's just like having the flu with the watery diarrhea, except there's no diarrhea, it's stones. I guess it's kinda hard for me to describe. Plus, it's also different for everyone too. They call it butt pee because that's basically all it is--with stones being passed.
Have a wonderful vacation and lucky you for living so close to there! Don't stress about the flushing, in the end you'll say, why was I so stressed?

Tinkerbell: Thankyou for the words of encouragement. I read back on one of InYourDreams posts to you and how she answered all of your questions. I truly think she is the one who convinced me to give it a shot by making it seem so normal. :) Did you substitute a cup of water for juice when you took the ES?
InYourDreams: I am going to "try" to eat apples. Can you tell me, how many would you suggest daily? Does it matter if they are red or green? Is Apple Cider better than Apple Juice? If so, what brand would you suggest?
I'm sorry, I just have SO many questions. Thanks for the help.

I would just eat a couple apples a day if you can. They recommend organic juiced apples---personally, I live in front of an apple orchard, so I just go to their store and buy their apple cider. It's not organic, but it worked ok for me. That cheap apple juice probably only has 10% real juice in it, so you're probably only drinking sugar water. I'm not positive, but I think I read at one time that green have more malic acid, but it really doesn't matter which one you use. I always used red. And I used pink grapefruits freshly squeezed for my ES mixture and my OO mixture. I used 1 cup grapefruit juice with 2 cups of water mixed with the 4 T of ES.
Back to the juice---I also used Mott's 100% juice in the big jug at Walmart for like $4 for one of my flushes. It was fine too and very tasty.
Tink did very well with her flush and was a great student :) If you find those posts where we went back and forth with her flush, there is a lot of information in there that should help you. It's really nothing to be scared about. You're basically drinking salad dressing and having a laxative on the side. The worst thing that could happen to you is going to the hospital and having your gallbladder out----which is what that Dr had planned for you anyway. But I would say chances are from what I've read, you won't be making any trips there anytime soon after a flush. :) Flushing is surgery-free surgery.

Tink---how are you feeling since the flush?? Any better? Some people can tell when it's time to flush again--they get that full feeling in their liver/gallbladder area. If you're gonna continue to flush, try to keep a little journal as to the way you do things or what comes out. One time you might have green stones, the next time tan, and sometimes nothing! I did tell you that the best time to flush is NEW moon, right? Worst time is Full moon.

Glad you're following up with your Dr. Should be interesting to see what the scan shows.
Embarassed to say---but my "almost" pneumonia went into a head cold. I had like 2 days where I felt ok, then I got sick again and now he's getting sick again too. We just keep passing this back and forth. I take him to the Dr and all they want to do is keep giving him antibiotics---the kid's not gonna have an immune system pretty soon! It is SOOOO depressing. This winter is so strange with some days at 60 degrees, then the next day it's 19.
But other than that, I'm ok! :) Glad to hear your pain is better.

I am going to try my best with eating the apples. I think I can swing it, if I know the outcome will be better. I personally like the green apples best, but I may need to throw in some of the sour crunchy red ones too for a variety. I plan to start them tomorrow.
I called my doctor today becasue my husband told me that I should at least know what size the stones are before attempting to pass them. At first she told me that she had no idea because my report from the radiologist didn't say. Then she read it over while on the phone with me, and it said that "I have multiple small stones". Thats all the news she could give me. For not knowing a whole lot about them, she sure pushes the surgery. But it sounds like I may be able to pass them pretty easily (I hope). She again suggested talking to a surgeon but again, I told her that unless I am having pain, I don't see the point, as I would have never known I had them if I didn't have to get a blood test done. She wants me to go back in March for another blood test, so I know I better flush before then and maybe it will lower my enzymes.
I licked my finger, then put it in epsom salt and back in my mouth. YUCK!!! I am hopeful that I will be able to drink it with the help of juice but there is NO WAY I could do it in plain water. I will be sure to keep you posted and if I think of anything else to ask, you may hear from me again. But I will be doing it next Friday for sure. :)

If the radiologist didn't mark anything as being a substantial sized stone, then all you have probably is small ones that should pass easily---especially if you've been softening them with malic acid. There have been people that have passed very large stones without problems---that's what that terrible ES is for. To open those ducts so that the stones pass through. And even though it's AWFUL, AWFUL stuff, make sure you take those last 2 doses in the morning, because you don't want these stones laying dormant in your colon throwing off toxins. That's what makes you feel sick. When you hear the word "stone" you're thinking of some hard aquarium stone like thing---thye're not hard at all---they're soft and squishy.
EVERYBODY has stones. Some people have pain, some don't. I never had pain either. They're made up of cholesterol and bile---and everybody has those two things. Dr's push for surgery because that's all they know, that's how they make their money, not by pushing $1.49 container of ES and a couple of grapefruits.
I never tasted the ES beforehand---I just chugged it with my nose squeezed shut as fast as I could. I just wanted to get on with the flush and would do or take anything to help myself. Think Survivor when they're eating fish eyes and cow dung---then ES isn't so bad (although it's REAL close) :)
Good luck to you on Friday--we'll be thinkin' aboutcha.

Ok, today's the day! I have bought my grapefruits and extra virgin olive oil. I am all set. I had a stressfull week to date but I hope to be able to just kick back and relax today and tomorrow. Vegas wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Spent lots of money and received a very depressing phone call from a family member while up there. A family member had to put her horse down after 25 years because she fell and broke her leg. It was so sad! Needless to say, nobody felt like having fun after knowing our family members were dealing with such a big loss.
Anyways, I don't know if I will be on here tomorrow or not (depending if I can get out of bed) but I will let you guys know how it went by Sunday. :) Hope all is going well for you guys!

NBTTT: I'm so sorry to hear the horse had to be put down. That is so tough- we had to do it once last fall. Very very sad-no matter if it's the right thing to do for your horse of not. I was hoping you'd had a relaxing time last week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will work well for you so you'll feel much better and that will elevate your spirits (instead of your liver enzymes!! ;) ) Take care of yourself---flush those stones--and keep in touch when you feel up to it!! Thankyou HappyElf. Yeah, it was hard to hear about her horse because I was raised around her. She was five years older than me and she had been with my aunt for 25 years, which is as long as I have been born. :) I don't neccessarily believe in putting animals down but in this case, it HAD to be done. She fell and busted her hip, then when she tried getting up, she broke her ankle (right above the hoof). But it was sad for all of us. Then the day after we came back from vegas, we went out and helped clear fencing and bushes away, so the tractor could get to her pen. It was not a relaxing week!
On a brighter note, I did the flush and I feel fine! I was scared up until yesterday but then I said "I'm doing this!" and I started. I have to admit, I substitued all three cups of water with grapefruit juice (don't know if it made the Epsom Salt taste any better), and I still nearly vomitted each time. I was doing fine with the oil, until my husband shriveled his nose at me. Then I inhaled (was drinking through a straw), and after that, I had a hard time finishing it. Overall, I only felt bad while drinking the stuff, and having to spend all my time on the toilet. Other than that, I slept fine and feel great today. The only flu like sympthom I have is the runs. :) It's weird (and may just be in my mindset) but I feel like I can breath easier and clearer.
I have actually passed lots of stones (if that is indeed what they are). I am lazy and didn't feel like counting them all, but I would guess it's been between 500-1,000. Most of them are really small (pea size or smaller) but I have had about four that have been the size of a kidney bean. I figure even if they are not stones, they are something that should not be in me, and it's hard for me to believe that it's just the oil, since my movement looked like clear urine last night and this morning, it looks like normal diarreah with clumps.
Although I am not looking forward to doing the flush again, I think I will try it again next month. I'm not desparate enough to do it in two weeks. :) But I feel REALLY cleaned out. If these are really stones, and I can pass them this easily, I am SOOO happy that I haven't scheduled surgery.

NBTTT: Good to hear from you! That means you're feeling good--and it is great to hear you feel better that before the flush! (oh no--does that mean I'm coming around...??? lol) I'd think the 'drinking' part would be the worst of it. Drinking epsom salts --not pleasant. I am not a big 'table salt' person anway-and even thinking abt drinking ES(much stronger that table) makes me want to barf!! GOOD for you!! I'm glad you feel better! And I think you're right--whatever those things are--it's better they're out of you. You're skin will probably be better too--getting all those toxic things out of your body. (altho at 25 , I'm sure you're still in good shape in the skin department!! ;) ) I'm sure it was scary, but you got the first one out of the way and now know what to expect. And if the gallbladder still needs to come out, you'll know it. You know your body. But we'll keep our fingers crossed this takes care of it.
Again-I'm sorry abt the horse. Having it so close to your age --you literally grew up with it--kind of like a sibling. I hate to hear when the break a hip b/c you know what's coming...that and a broken leg pretty much seals their fate. Last summer our friend-Jack-died unexpectedly, then 2 mos aft that the horse we named after/for him died from complications of a blood infection from a cut... (abt 6 weeks b/f he got cut, he had a viral infection but rebounded fully--so we thought and were assured) When he got cut, it was downhill from there--he died on his own one day. Two mos later another horse broke his leg-so he had to be put down. It's so hard. I felt so selfish-and childish-not wanting to let him go--but he needed to be out of pain. I'm an adult, and I know it's the right thing-but man, I seemed to revert to the little 7 yr old when that happened. It's just really really hard. But--I think your family's horse is playing with our horses in "Horsie Heaven"--running thru the fields all day without a care. Just know he's not alone-or in pain.
Hang in there!! Keep up the good work, and let me know how your day/night goes! Keep on flushing!! (did I really say that??) LOL Wonder where InYourDreams is?? H/E

I am here!! :)
Sorry to hear about your families horse--that's terrible news. I'm currently pet free cause I'm such a wimp when it comes to the passing of an animal. It just breaks my heart when they become sick and then you can't do anything to make them better--but not without trying. You want them to talk to you to tell you how they're feeling and what hurts---and I think that's what bothers me the most. Again, so sorry.
But good news I hear! It sounds like the flush was a MAJOR success!!! Did you know there are people that don't even pass ONE stone, let alone hundreds or thousands on their first flush?? That's wonderful! and YES, they were stones. That's what eating those apples and juice does---makes em soft and waxy huh.
I didn't have any trouble my first two flushes with getting the ES down---I just held my nose and gulped it. The OO mixture went down rather easily for me. I just drank it REALLY REALLY fast and laid down fast and tried not to think about what I had just drank. The ES isn't salty at all huh, it's BITTER. Nothing like table salt HE!!! In fact, table salt is yummy compared to this devil's poison! But it works though, doesn't it. Were the stones green or tan?? They say if they're dark green that they are from the liver and if they're tan they're from the gallbladder. Mine were all dark/almost a fluorescent green.
I did my flushes once a month for 3 months. I think every 2 weeks is wayyy too harsh on your body. You have to give yourself time to heal again---you've just had surgery! (minus the knife, the laprascope (sp), the Drs, the hospital, etc etc). Wasn't that much easier?
Now if you would happen to have any pain in the next day or so---take a teaspoon of ES in a glass of water. That should get any stuck stones out. Cause pain usually means a stone is stuck. I've never had to do that, but read that's what should be done. And make sure you drink a LOT of water today. If you feel funky in the head, it's probably dehydration---so drink!
So in your opinion---wasn't as scary as it seemed, right? Now all we gotta do is talk Elfie into it :) :) :)
Take care and thanks for letting us know how it went.

Hey guys,
No, the flush was no where near as scary as I thought it would be. Thank goodness! :) In fact, besides the horrid tasting stuff, I didn't feel a thing. Boy, I tell you, the ES was horrid!!! I tried it in 3 cups fresh squeezed grape fruit juice and it didn't help at all. I couldnt imagine doing it in just plain water. Next time, I think I will just do it in Welsh's Grape juice (do you think that would help?). I dont think I could stomach it again. I have a pretty strong stomach, which I assume made it so I didnt throw up, but I came close. The oil mixture I had no problem with until I inhaled.
The stones were all dark green and smaller than I expected. I had a couple light green stones as well but they were the size of half a pea. No tan ones at all. So I guess that is bad news, huh? There was a lot of chaff (I think) too. Lots of it. Quite different from my "urine" last night.
I haven't had any pain but I ended up eating a lot for lunch (I had hardly anything to eat in the past 48 hours - a small burrito and handful of chips on Thursday, and a can of corn and two pieces of toasted bread yesterday) and drank lots of water and juice after the flush. I was EXTREMELY thirsty, and I've drank so much I literally feel sick. Plus I stopped using the bathroom, and now feel FULL. But once it settles, I know I'll feel better. :)
I think I will wait until next month to go through it all again. I was seriously rethinking doing it in two weeks, but I agree that the body goes through a lot and needs time to heal. Next time, will the stones most likely be bigger? or smaller? I think Happy Elf should give it a try. If there is something in there, then it helps but if not, then at least she would know. :) I tried getting family members to do it and see but I dont think they care. For me, I'm a believer.

My first flush went very smoothly with tons of sludge and stones. My second I got myself dehydrated and was really goofy---with a lot of stones and no sludge. The third flush I was dehydrated again, but this time at night not the next day and didn't pass a whole lot. I can't tell you if your stones will be bigger or smaller---more or less---it all depends on what's in your liver and gallbladder. They say that after your first flush that the stones move down from the back of the liver to the front and get ready to come out. The oil just churns everything up in there and loosens them.
It's not a bad thing at all that you didn't have tan. I've never had tan either. No matter what comes out, it's better than being in there--whatever the color. I just felt for myself that when the stones stopped heavily coming out that I wasn't gonna "push" myself to have a totally cleaned out liver. I feel that what I got out really helped me healthwise and I'll just do maintenance flushing from now on. I also think people can become addicted to this (how anybody can become addicted to ES and OO is beyond me)---but I bet it happens.
You can use other juices---but they'd rather you have fresh squeezed because you don't want to put anything artificial or not 100% fruit into your body while flushing. That can overload the fragile liver. Maybe juice some apples or try orange juice squeezed. I've read lemons work too---but ewe, I think I'll pass.
I've never thrown up either but came real close last time. I used a different olive oil and DANG it was nasty!!!
Good luck on getting the family to try it  my family thinks I'm nuts and blames every little cold, sniffle or fart on doing liver flushing and how it's so "bad" for me. :)

Hey guys- -You two just keep on sharing flushing experiences-I'll keep reading them and learning. (and I am learning A LOT) While I'll never be an advocate--I think it's great if it works for you! Anytime you can find a safe, effective alternative to surgery-go for it. For me tho'-Ain't gonna happen!! ;) Seriously tho'--I couldn't do anything like that b/c my situation is a little different than both of yours--I have to be really careful what I put into my body--even too much rpotein can take me down again. The fact that I lived is amazing--I have a responsibility to our children, my hubby and the ppl who saved all of our lives during those days. (They not only saved my life that day, but they saved our three kids and my hubby) That day at home, our children saw me in a way no child should ever have to see their mother-and my husband  well, bless him. So-yeah--I may have a skewed view-but for good reason--I'm alive. But your exps are interesting...and it's helping you. That's what's MOST impt. I'm impressed w/you :) NBTTT--such a trouper your first time out!!
Hey INYOURDREAMS!! Good to hear from you! :) I was hoping you were ok--you had been quite for a few days!

I have had no pain - though I didn't before either. But every now and again, I think I can feel my gallbladder/liver. It doesn't hurt, but it just lets me know it's there, I guess. I think maybe the other stones that are ready to come out, have shifted and maybe thats what I feel. I dunno.
Anyways, I will doing it again, so I better realize it. I do think I will try a different juice this time, just because the sight of a grape friut makes my stomach oozy. I had to give the left over ones to my mom and brother becasue I couldnt stand seeing them in my house. Maybe orange juice this time.
I didn't lose weight - ok, maybe I did, I lost three pounds that day but after I splurged, I gained it back plus a pound or two. My metabolism definately doesn't work better or anything. Perhaps next time. My doctor ordered another blood test for me in March, so it will be interesting to see if my enzymes elevated or decreased. I'm feeling pretty good, so I am not in a rush to get my blood taken any time soon. :)
