hey guys im not sure if im in the right place but my doc thinks i might have what they call a pheo. That short for a longer term and im not sure on the spelling but its a small tumor on either the kidney or around them and since i dont know much about that some info would be great

What your doctor is talking about is probably a pheochromocytoma, a tumor on the adrenal glands which sit just on top of the kidney.

They can cause excess release of epinephrine and norepinephrine, hormones that regulate heart rate and blood pressure.

I don't know a whole lot more about it, my son was tested for this a couple of years ago, but was found not to have it. One of the tests they did was a 24 hour urine test.
