What’s your opinion on alkalol? My ENT doctor suggested that I should irrigate (nose) with it but I am a little scared because one of the ingredients is alcohol and I assume it stings like crazy. Thank you.

I've never used this, but many people have. You aren't supposed to use it straight. A very small amount is supposed to be diluted in your saline solution.

I've never tried it, but recently picked up Neilmed's Sinus Rinse kit. I just mix distilled water and a non-stinging powder (comes with it). Absolutely NO stinging or pain. This is my first experience with a sinus rinse, but so far, it seems to help. Might be an option for you. My allergist recommended it. Check out neilmed.com

Good luck -
