Am I reading this correctly. Your trig's were 894? And then a month later 119?

Yup, my trig did drop very dramatically but it actually took about 6 weeks. During that time I cut-off sugar stuffs completely (and I mean completely, no soft drinks, no sugar in tea/coffee, no chocolate, no ice cream, no cake), reduce my carbonhydrate intake by 30%, stop all red meats and deep fried foods and excercise 5 times a week, plus daily Omega-3 intakes.

U must have been extremely happy about that drop. I've heard of some good drops, but that is awesome.

I tried to eat high fibre bread, brown rice, pasta, and noddle etc. I think the trick to control carb is to eat 70% full rather than stuffing my stomach like what I used to do. It takes a while to get used to it initially beacuse I kept getting hungry and want to snack. Well, I refrain myself form too much snacks and even if I do, they would be mainly healthy nuts like pistachio, walnut, and dried figs etc.

Come to think of it, I did reduce my consumptions of alcohol (wine and beer) as well, that might have helped too.

Thanks for the reply. I try to always eat protein, vegetable and a little carb with every meal. I have never seen (maybe didn't look close enough for) high fiber pasta. What kind did you buy if I may ask?

My issue is with snacks. I'm allergic to nuts so I can't have that. I used to snack on small pieces of cheese (figured I'd be getting my calcium this way) and breadsticks. Now I can't. So I saute alot of different vegetable's in large quantities are snack on that now. I can't even have fruits because I'm alleric to many fruits too. Oh well....

I'm also allergic to nuts, but I can eat almonds. Have you tried almonds?
