Is there really a more sensative NON FASTING cholesterole blood test out there?

Since the results are standardized to a fasting sample of people, there isn't a lot of reason to DO a non-fasting blood lipid test. Even the most accurate test will give you numbers that don't have much meaning in that they are more accurately measuring the results of your last meal than the average state of your bloodstream.

Thanks Lenin.
As always you are on the mark! Your input throughout this site is invaluable!
My recent results were shocking, since there was such a jump within a two month span.
When I go back next month I will re-test. Meanwhile it doesn't hurt to eat oatmeal every day and start cutting out all sugars and most carb's.
