I went to the Doctor yesterday and it was not good. I am seeing a doctor of internal medicine while I am waiting to see a rhumy. I have been taking NSAID, MTX and Prednisone. Then I got off of prednisone because of my blood pressure. Even on the NSAID and Methotrexate my RA is getting worse. My sed rate is up and my anemia has gotten worse. Now he is going to send me to a rhumy and is hoping to get me in within 3 months. Not like to other rhumy that I am waiting to see 2-3 years. He start talking about biologic drugs but he said that was out of his expertise. Just thw tought of going to another doctor and having to explain every thing again and get all those test done agian. This will be my fourth doctor that I have seen. I hate beeing on Prenisone again. I will be on it for atleast 3 months. Will this ever end? Thanks

From experience, When ever I go to see a doctor and have x-rays or blood test done, I always make sure that my current doctor gives me a copy of the results. That in a way, if he send me to see another specialist, I would have the results ready and avoid having to do all those blood test again and again and again.

It's very frustrating especially having to explain your case to a different doctor.
