 Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice as to whats happening to me. I get up at 7 a.m., and at about 10 a.m. every day I get a productive cough that causes me to lose my voice. I have avoided some things (milk, etc) and it never changes. I feel fine, don't appear to have any other problems. Its just a pain because I lose my voice for about an hour because of all the "crud" thats suddenly in my lungs. Then it goes away and I'm fine for the rest of the day. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is there anything that you do every day at 10am? Have you had any breathing tests?

sounds like asthma to me. Maybe allergic asthma. Might want to be tested to see what kind of polluntants you are allergic to and possibly see a doctor about having some test to see if you need to take a antihistimine or something.

I don't think it's asthma. It sounds like bronchitis or sinusitis to me. Prevention magazine just ran an article of a Mayo Clinic study that showed 37% of people with a chronic cough actually had sinsusitis! See your doctor.

:D Hey everyone thanks for the wonderful replies! I am taking your advice and looking into your recommendations. To answer the questions posed to me, I get to work at 8 a.m. and sit at my desk until 5 p.m. so there really isn't anything I'm doing differently at 10 a.m. I didn't think about it being something besides an allergy! Thanks for clueing me in.
