Sponsor Mommy2Baz 02-17-2006, 05:41 PM My mom went for a biopsy and they had to postpone it becuase they could not locate the clip that was put in about 2 months ago. Is it possible for the thing to move?????? I don't know whether that's possible or not - what did the doctor say to your Mom? Did they reschedule the biopsy? (((HUGS))) I read your other post and know this is tough for you. I was in HS when my Mom was diagnosed. She was 42. She had a lumpectomy, chemo, and radiation. That was 10 years ago and she's healthier than ever! I'm currently scheduled for a biopsy myself (17 days until surgery and counting!) for a lump that I found 2 weeks ago. The u/s showed a 1 cm mass, so I am having an excisional biopsy (meaning they are taking the whole lump, plus some of the tissue margins from around it). I then have to wait 48 hours for the pathology results. The thought that this might be cancer is terrifying - I'm only 27! But I will get through this!! Keep me updated on your Mom, and if you need to talk, please just let me know - I've been there. |
