Hello, there! Just wanted to say that this has been a really good week for me. I've been working so hard-mentally and phyically-to get this eating disorder out of my head! I was on tour a few days in New York with my choir which meant we were eating at restuarants constantly. At first I was a little nervous but during the trip I felt fine! I was eating completely normal...lots of great deli sandwiches, choclates...great food in the city! At one point my friends were just getting smoothies for dinner but I chose to get a regular meal of pasta. So proud of myself! I also haven't been exercising all the time and feeling guilty if I don't. It's beginning to get to the point where if I don't feel like working out then I won't. I do it when I want to. Not because I have to.I feel so encouraged through these boards so I just wanted to share a little bit of the success I've been having. God is really healing me!

I guess I've just been trying to surround myself with people I admire who don't have eating disorders...people I know we are a good influence...

Also, everytime I start calorie counting I immediately think of something else. Plus, I haven't weighed myself lately...which is a nice change. I don't want to define myself by a number which is sooo easy for me to do.
