I went to a Rheumatologist after 10 weeks of certain symptoms and was told that I have fibromyalgia and that it was triggered by auto accident. I'm very distressed at this news.

Wow Valk!
I had fibro for 10 years before my rheumatologist figured it out. I'm wondering if your guy is right since some injuries just take time to work themselves out.
Blessings,
Kirstee

Don't stress Valk, that just feeds the fibro. Breath deep and think about the fibro and how you can help yourself feel better. That will throw fibro a curve, never give in or give up. Attitude is everything!

Kirstee,
My woman doctor was very thorough and all my symptoms match. It's no ordinary injury and I knew that. Doctors are more aware of this illness now.
It's much better to know early I feel, so I can deal with it.

Hi,
I to am suffering from Fibro as a result of a car accident.Believe me it is no fun & very stressful. With no definite test to diagnose this condition it can be very frustruating trying to prove it is as a result of a MVA> Since the accident my symptoms have been getting worse and it is now alomost 2 years since the accident. I am learnig what works best for me regarding treatments/medications/exercise & unfortunatly there is no definete set of rules when dealing with this condition. Hang in there!!!
