Not for me for pain. However I can say the shots themselves were among the most painful I ever had. I had them twice in the hip. I've only heard of these for deficiency, which I suppose could help with pain in the nerves for those who are truly deficient. Take the sublingual for a month first _ I know it's not aS QUICK OR EFFECTIVE, BUT PAINLESS.

If you are having problems try benfotiamine , this has helped me tremendously . Try it for a couple of months at 600 mgs a day . Info at benfotiamine-dot-net. This is the only thing I have found that helps in the 7 years i have had bad PN in both feet m also has helped muscle pains a lot .

I'd combine Benfotiamine (? mgs) and sublingual Methylcobalamin (30 mgs) a day and see how that helps. I have never taken Benfotiamine but have taken Methylcobalamin under the tongue and had great results. The key is to take it in 5 mg lozenges up to 30 mgs and see if that works.......
