Hi,

I pierced my ear (just my left ear) around Nov 2004 and it doesn't seem like it's healed properly or something which is weird because that's a long time ! I can't remember how long exactly, but I kept the stud (gold) on longer than 8 weeks without taking it off. I cleaned the both sides of the ear lobe everyday with the solution that was provided.

The problem is that if I do take it off, it's quite difficult to put the stud back on most of the times. It feels like it's stuck halfway and wouldn't go through the otherside.
On the underside of the lobe, it's a little red (like a circle and sometimes a scab) and you can't really see the hole. My left ear lobe is a little bigger than the right since I got the piercing done, but not enough for someone to notice.

About 2 months ago I took out the stud and left it for about 3 days. When I did try to put it back in, I actually thought it was closed up because I had to force the stud through quite hard which stung a little :D
What could be the problem? Bad piercing? What can I do to make it "heal" properly ?
