I had a small lump right about my collarbone. I went to the Dr. and he didn't seem to considered about it. He said it was surface so not to worry but sent me for X-rays just to see.
Well they called me and said the X-rays looked good and everything is fine.

Now my question is ...Are X-rays enough to rule out something more serious?

I do go back to him in 2 weeks (other health issue)

Thanks

The Xray was not to visualize the lymph node but to check for lung infections such as TB, Cancer, Bronchitis etc. To check the lymph node itself, it would have to be biopsied. The doctors do not like doing invasive procedures unless necessary.

So do you think I should ask for it to be biopsied? Wonder what would or wouldn't make him do that. So even though the Xray came back clear something could still be wrong
