Hi
What a great board! I can't believe how many fantastic tips are over here.
Okay...question for hypo-allergenic folks:
A little history here. I never had any eye problems whatsoever up until four years ago. I have perfect vision, no glasses/contacts. (I'm in my mid-30s). I had seven large dogs stay with DH and I over a two-week span Christmas four years ago. A few days after all the dogs/guests left, my right tear duct was blocked. It wouldn't stop watering. I found an eye doc who gave me a run of drops for a month, which fixed the problem. However, he told me from now on, use hypo-allergenic eye makeup.
After years of trying different hypo-allergenic mascaras, I'm thoroughly disappointed. I'm good with everything else (liners, color powders) but the mascara. I've tried them all, and nothing comes close to my trusty Lancome that I'd used since I'd started wearing makeup. Lancome doesn't have hypo-allergenic :(
I guess my question is do I really need hypo-allergenic? I don't have allergies or asthma, and I haven't had the blocked tear duct symptoms in years now. For those folks who have to use hypo-allergenic, what happens if you don't? Will I notice immediately something wrong? I sure miss my Lancome
Any thoughts would be appreciated :)
