I was wondering about how long the cycles last. I didn't get a clear length of time in my "outline" of drugs that may be administered. They said I could be on BCP for 2-3 weeks. Does that mean, that I could go into the next cycle? If it does, would they wait until I normally get AF again, or would I even get AF if I've been pumped with all these other drugs? I mean, I know it depends on each person and it's a "manufactured" cycle, but how do you tell when the last period thing starts...like to calculate a due date? I am so confused!! :confused:

What I am really asking is: How long is the range of time that one lasts on BCP, Lupron and then when do you start the follicular drugs to stimulate growth? Do any of them overlap? How long are you on FSH (or is it FHS?) before the retrieval?

Can those ladies who have been through this before shed any light? Thanks! ;)

I go on bcp for 2 weeks, then af comes about a week later. I start my injections on day 2 of af and usually go to day 20 of my cycle on the injectables, but it takes me a long time to get my follicles to the right size, some people are ready by day 9. It depends how you react to the drugs.
