Whenever I eat yogurt I get a itchy kind of hyper feeling. It takes many hours to go away. Someone gave me a new liquid vitamin (oasis) and I got the same feeling. I would like to know exactly what it is that is causing this reaction so I can be careful to avoid the products that have it. There have been other products that have caused it like candies and baked goods?? Does yogurt bother anyone else? Any help will be appreciated !!

Milk doesn't bother me at all - must be something else in yogurt besides the dairy.

could be some sort of artificial sweetner that is doing it to you.

i'm very allergic to yogurt. i've tested allergic as well. i get a quick-spreading rash that is pink and has teeny tiny bumps that starts on my hands and feet, and moves to my face, ankles, arms, etc until i get onto steroids. i get the same reation if i touch or eat it, but touching makes the rash more severe. as a baby i used to throw it up, but as i've gotten older i get the rash type of reaction. it's not an allergy to mess with. tell your doctor, and don't let anyone tell you that it's not serious or that you're making it up (cause most people will).
also - i have a similar reaction to parmsean cheese, and tested allergic to chocolate (though i've never had a problem). the doctor said it's in the cultures.
