Hi, Im wondering if waxing your legs gets the same silkiness as shaving? I have an epilator which takes the hair out from the root like waxing but doesnt get those really tiny ones so it feels like stubble. It looks like a shaver but has numerous "tweezers" that roll around and around and keep pullin the hairs out, it really hurts the first time but it was much better the second, I thought it was a way to save money than waxing, but Ive never had a professional wax before and tried it myself but just didnt do a really good job. So as far as the stuble is concerned does it sound better than the epilator?

Unfortunately, your hair needs to be a bit legnthy even for a professional wax. I epilate my legs (and also shave them occasioally not simply for the reason you describe, but for the exfoliation shaving gives me). A professional wax for my legs just isn't worth the time and expense when I can whip out my epilator and be done with it. I'm sure there are women who disagree with me. I don't think there's any one fool proof method to remain perfectly hair free. All methods have their limitations/drawbacks.... :o . Ah well, such is life.
