Hi everybody i have a question for you on wednesday i had a bad day feeling sick and lightheaded most of the day thought i was coming down with a virus next day woke up fine today went for a swim after the swim got the same feeling sick and lightheaded again had a mi in nov 2004 and have one stent have been getting stabbing pains in in the chest went to doc last week had ecg done that was fine could this lightheadness be related to my heart just wondering. :confused: :confused:

Low blood pressure can cause the symptoms you describe. If you had a MI, medications for the heart condition could be the problem. Or it could be anxiety.

A comment about an ECG. It may be an invalid test for your condition based on your symptoms, as you may not have been experiencing any of your described symptoms at the time of the test. According to your post, ill feelings developed with some exertion. An EKG with exertion (stress test) may be more revealing, if there is a heart condition!?
