Is there a mascara out there that will stay put for hours? I use Maybelline Full N Soft - waterproof . I like it until afternoon and then have black under my eyes. I have tried lots and lots of mascaras and can't find the perfect one for me. Thanks for any help.

The waterproof one still gets under your eyes? I use the regular Full N Soft and it stays on all day. Do you put a lot of mascara on your lower lashes? One thing you can try that will work well is to put clear mascara on the bottom, that way it won't smudge onto your skin during the day, but still have your lashes more defined.

Yes, the waterproof gets underneath my eyes by afternoon and I don't put it on heavy. I never heard of clear mascara. Is there a certain brand? Thanks for your response.

i also have a problem with even waterproof mascaras smudging under my eyes. the two mascaras that i absolutely love are Max Factor 2000 Calorie and Cover Girl Lash Exact. they never ever smudge (even after sleeping!), make my lashes look great, and wash off easily.

I think all mascaras smudge if you have oily skin. It helps to not apply it to the lower lashes.

I have very oily skin and my mascara doesn't smudge. I use Covergirl Lash Exact ($5-$6) and it doesn't clump at all even when the mascara gets older. It stays and my lashes look beautiful. Another mascara I really like is Lancome Hypnose because you can customize your volume and it is excellent but a little more pricey ($21).

Yeah I agree that a lot of lashes will smudge if your skin is oily or just a little oily. A lot of drugstore brands make clear mascara. Covergirl makes one that I have.. it works pretty good for the bottom lashes! It can also be used for keeping your eyebrows looking good.
