I am 22 and have had post nasal drip since I was about 8 years old. Probably about 10-15 times a day I cough up very thick mucous. Needless to say, this is annoying and gross. I am on Allegra, but it doesn't seem to help much. I also use Sinucleanse, which is kind of like a neti pot, with a saline solution. When I use it, I blow out a massive amount of mucous from my nose, and then cough up a massive amount of mucous. I would really like to resolve this problem. Has anyone shared a similar experience? If so, what did you find was able to help you out? Should I go back to the doctor and have them put me on a nasal spray as well? Thanks for all of your help!

YEs go back to the doctor and ask about other allergy treatments and testing for allergies.
