I'm 19 years old and have had allergies as long as I can remember. When they started getting bad enough, I began taking Zrytec, Claritin and Allegra D, the zrytec and claritin didn't seem to do much, the allegra d did but I didn't like taking it all the time, so my doctor suggested Flonase. The prescription says to use one spray in each nostril once a day, so that's just what I've been doing and it's been working great. When I would blow my nose there would be a little blood on it but I was told that was normal. Last night right after I sprayed, I got a bloody nose so much so that it ran down to my lip. Is this normal? I read somewhere on here that using a nasal spray everyday is bad for you in the long run. Is this true? Any suggestions or comments?

madunlap,
I had the same thing happen to me using Flonase. My ENT switched me to Nasacort.
