i had to go to er the other day cause my heart rate was 220. then it was in the 100's at the hosptial. they think i have svt. i am going to a cardiologist soon. i have to take beta blockers right now. 25mg toprol xl. that was 2 days ago i went to er. anyone else here ever been really sore after and svt attack? i find my self sore in my back and mostly under my breast area i guess in the ribs along the front. i dont know if this is normal or if it's the medicine or what? i've only been taking the medicine 2 days now. also i feel like i need a pain reliever because of the soreness. is there any safe ones that WON'T raise my heart rate or blood pressure? i was taking tylenol rapid release extra strengh or either just extra strength but i havent taken it after the attack because i'm not sure if it makes my heart beat faster or not. thanks.

Your body will be sore from a SVT attack. Basically all the muscles have tightened up and you tens up to so the muscles have to relax.
I wont be the drugs but as far as a muscle relaxant I would strongly suggest let it work its self out. If you feel you are unable to do that talk to the pharmasist and see what they can suggest. Some meds have interactions with others.
Don't take anything like time realeased cause that can cause problems, as can decongestants, pseudophedrine anything that is a stimmulant.
