I have fair skin, brown hair and brown eyes. I use purple eyeshadow and sometimes brown liner. What kind of lipgloss would match it well without looking tacky or too dramatic?

I would pick a sheer pink or just a lighter, rose pink. Anything too bright will look more dramatic and pink would go well with the purple eyeshadow.

There are lots of sheer medium or light pinks that go with EVERYTHING.. so I'd go for some of those! You can get one with shimmer in it or you would like too!

I would go with something sheer as well! I would try maybe a nude color lip gloss. I love Colorjuice made by loreal....and it comes in many shades and they have great shades of nude to slight pinkish colors. Also, bath and body works have these great lip glosses that are in a green tube...and they are stains....they are a very light color and they taste like mint. Goodluck!

:D I have one of the Bath and Body Works in the green tube but I lost it... This time I will try the ones with color, last time I had clear... Thanks!

If you don't want too glossy a look, and I don't blame you, why not a tinted lip balm? Burt's Bees has some nice shades.

I use lip balm on top of lipliner pencil applied all over my lips for a 'lipstick' that lasts. Or I tint purchased lip balm with my favorite lipsticks. Just screw it all the way out and cut it off into a dixie cup and add about a quarter inch of your lipstick. Melt it briefly in the microwave and stir, then pour it back into the tube and let it harden. The only thing is that the color doesn't stay evenly mixed so there is more color when you get near the bottom. Maybe hardening it faster in the fridge might help. Or stirring in the tube as it hardens. Martha Stewart sells kits for making lip balm and I got the idea for using the lipstick to tint from her show..

I haven't used a lip gloss since junior high, and just the thought of those horrible, sticky glosses repulses me now, so I haven't tried any of the new ones now that the trend is back.

I definitely do not need lipliner... I am luckily blessed with nice lips... I do not know how to wear it anyway...
