Blue is always talking about getting her workouts with all the yardwork and things she does. Shoveling dirt or hauling gravel or whatever.....anyway! My brother is moving, his new house is finished. Whereas the movers are coming next weekend, all the boxes and excess needed to be moved this past weekend. We had plenty of young men and young at heart men to do the lifting and carrying but I still did my part. I didn't push past my limit, but I am amazed at how good I feel after all that physical work. This is two weekends now I have been able to get back to some regular kind of physical work (non-organized workout). Although I am sore I must say I am doing well.

Blue I love these kind of workouts not only are they free, they are so productive. And you feel so good to boot cause you feel like you have accomplished so much. I won't give up my exercise classes, I do love them but I have certainly enjoyed the tired and sore but good feelings from these physical weekends.

By the way blue how are you doing? How is the wood carving coming along? I really challenged the fibro this past weekend and it met the challenge.

Peace and pain free days to us all!

Hi everyone!

How are you doing today Blue? Those MRI's are rough. Do you get the open or in the tube? My fibro doesn't like those things, laying flat and still for that amount of time on a hard surface and then the noise. Braveman goes to the GP tomorrow and I am sure she will be discussing with him about going in the tube. It was set up a couple weeks ago but he thought it was the open again, so when he got surprised with the tube he said NO! He was told they can put you under for the tube so we will see. He doesn't want that either and I can't blame him. He is pretty tired of docs and tests.

Golden how are you and compassionman, how is he doing on the cymbalta? I sure hope it is improving his energy. It is no fun being tired all the time, don't we know. Braveman went to the dermie yesterday, it is just a wait and see game. The docs changed a longtime med he was on that cost eleven dollars a month on our insurance to a drug that cost 122.00 dollars a month on the insurance. Let's hope that is not what is causing the problem. We will try it for a couple of months and see what happens. General consensus of the docs is it is either the longtime drug or just a total body rewire from the chemo and this will pass in time.

I hope I can stay level with this burst of 'getting things done'! So far I haven't hit a bottom from the high and if it happens I hope it lets me down gentle.

Movin lets keep on dancing the night away!

How are you doing Hangin, I know you read but can't always post. Just sayin HI!

each day my eyes open is a blessing and a gift. i am following my exercise program. went hiking yesterday and helped our dear neighbor move. my art buddy. as long as i go slow i do fine.
fibro is echoing a tiny bit. the real exercises start tomorrow, hooray! i will drive my car for the first time since my wee stroke. i am scared and excited.
you know, every little thing we do is exercise. time to dress in my rain gear and do my stair exercises. we are storming like crazy here today. i love it!
blessing, peace, and love,

We have rain today also, it is kind of nice! Braveman has been saved from the tube....doc decided it wasn't all that necessary and it could be put off indefinitly. She didn't think being put under was such a good thing for an MRI. He does have a little problem with closed in spaces, something he has aquired in his old age. He has been in the tube a couple of times about 20yrs ago.

Blue glad you are improving a little bit everyday. Just go at your own pace and keep moving forward. It is very funny how good old fibro takes a back seat when it needs to. Just so it doesn't sneak up on you when you start feeling better.

So far so good for me. I get busy one day and I try to rest the next. Something like that. I just kind of listen to my body and judge accordingly. I will try to go back to exercise class tomorrow, that will be the tell tale sign of what my body thinks of activity again. I will start slow and take it easy, and hopefully the fibro won't talk back and throw me into a flare like the last time.

Be careful with the car driving Blue, don't get to racing around in that little sports car. Take care of yourself we need you!

Love

Hiya everyone,

Hope you are all feeling ok today. Fibro party going on again with me hee hee !! Seems a new bit each day gets a visit. I have been doing some stretching exercises and thinking about - again - asking my doctor about PT. There was a silly mix up last time and I never got to go. If I do go and they show me what to do once, then I know what to do to keep a bit more supple. Waiting lists are so long to get in though.

Blue, I do hope that your PT goes well today. Ouch, ouch head cuts. I bet they sting don't they? Take care and drive safely. Then come home and rest.

Glojer, I hope you are doing ok, and braveman too. Wow, so much seems to have happened to everyone just lately. I am so pleased we have each other.

Take care.

Hi blue and golden,

I hope your pt goes very well today blue. I always liked pt and did the things I was asked to do at home, it always helped and made me feel better so I hope it does the same for you. And Golden I hope you can get on the list and don't have to wait too long for pt. I really think it helps, but I have always had a good therapist, two actually one for my back and then later one for my fibro and frozen shoulder.

Well......exercise went very well today, I was surprised. The only thing sore (right now) is the back of my neck right at the base. I think it must be the way I hold my head at first trying to watch the instructor to make sure I do things correctly. I know I will have sore muscles in a couple days but it feels good to get everything pumping again.

Yes blue showering can be exercise....I would just like to be able to see my toes...giggle!

Sorry fibro has decided to party at your expense golden, give it a talking to and let it know who is boss and you aren't in a partying mood. I will be doing my voodoo dance to scare away the fibro for you and blue.

I hope all went well today blue, and golden you and compassionman hang in there. How is he doing by the way. Braveman is getting better physically, but the rash still persists. Did I tell you they have him on a high dose, short course of prednisone to get rid of the swelling from his rash/reaction...whatever it is. I don't think it has made him feel as good as it did for me!

Love and Peace

Glojer
