hi i am on one form of immune suppresant to treat my athritis. In theory they say that there is a chance of developing lymphoma and infection taking immune suppresant, but my arthritis is casuing too much pain.

i like to know what are the symptoms of lymphoma that i should watch out for and whether the treatment for lymphoma is as good as breast cancer.

if you were me, would you opt for immune suppresants to halt your arthritis?
your help is appreciated.

Hi,

I am dealing with this very issue right now, I have been taking the drug Humeria for about two years and have developed a lump on my coratid artery.
I have very severe arthrits and could hardly walk so I did not have a choice
whether or not to take the drug. I had a cat scan done this morning and I am waiting for the results. I will say that I am scared right now but what ever this is I will get through it. You also have a choice and I think there is a new drug that will be availble in March that has less side effect. It is a monthly infusion but I am sorry that I do not know the name. Get as much info as you can from your health care provider and then make the best decision for you.
good luck!
Deb
